We offer services to evaluate or verify existing designs, and offer design services for new LED systems to fit your needs.

Parking Garage Series -
We've combined the thermal management features of several designs to make a highly effective LED parking garage luminaire retrofit.  This is NOT an ordinary LED downlight; it can provide the luminance required by IESNA RP-20, and provides 10% uplight as a real parking garage luminaire should.  See this parking applications page.

LED Tube Lights have flooded the market to retrofit Fluorescent T8 tubes while retaining the original Fluorescent fixture.  This is a great thought, however, lighting may be sacrificed unless additional fixtures are added to the space.  Fluorescent lighting has evolved to be competitive in luminous efficacy, life span, and price.  See a mathematical explanation and comparison with LED T8 Fluorescent retrofits.

Active cooling may be controversial.  It improves efficiency slightly, but might reduce the size by reducing fins.  If in LinkedIn, click LinkedIn Comments on Fan Cooling to see world wide opinions.  Here, see Fan Cooling of LEDs  for discussion and recommendations on active cooling in outdoor applications.

Here are a few tools specifically for the lighting Industry:
ROI Payback Calculator  (costs and Financial Interest).
Reduce wattage and the the CO2 emissions.  See a calculator on rebate calculation.
RP-8 Tester    Know in minutes if a new light can do the job.  Requires IES file
RP-20 Tester    Learn how many luminaires are required to meet Standards.  Requires IES file

Inefficient lighting is in the past -   Today there are energy conservation Standards in place, and nearly all federally funded and LEED projects require compliance.  Compliance not only improves the quality of lighting on a property, it can mean lower utility rates in some areas, energy credits, and sometimes property tax reductions.  Energy reduction strategies are good for everyone, as long as lighting quality is not sacrificed.  Lighting with LEDs will often be a viable way to accomplish that goal.
